Why go

Use the collections to orient yourself before seeing Inca masonry and terraces in the open. The building, often called the Admiral’s House, also lets you compare a colonial setting with the pre-Hispanic material inside without leaving the historic center. The surrounding rooms make this an unhurried visit.
