Giardini La Lizza
La Lizza’s paths provide a green link between the fortress precinct and the Camollia approach. It works especially well as a pause on a longer northern walk.
La Lizza gives a planted pause between the northern Camollia approach and the Medici fortress. Walking its paths breaks up a sequence of gates, streets and walls. It is most useful as part of that progression, with the garden’s open space making the fortress precinct feel less abrupt.
