Palacio de la Madraza
Granada’s former Nasrid college is now a historic palace used for exhibitions. Visit for the surviving oratory and the contrast between its medieval origin and present cultural use.
Why go
Founded as a college under Yusuf I in the fourteenth century, the Madraza gives the city centre a tangible link to Nasrid learning beyond the Alhambra. The oratory is the key historic space, while exhibitions give the palace a continuing public role. Check the oratory program separately before treating it as part of an exhibition visit.
