Why go

Parliament Hill works best as a close architectural walk, not an attempt to enter every named room. The Centennial Flame, Gothic Revival blocks, and fallen Victoria Tower Bell reveal different scales of the same civic place. The library roof and Peace Tower give a coherent visual sequence even while Centre Block is being rehabilitated. This arrangement gives the fire-scarred bell a clear purpose after the larger buildings, and keeps the smaller forecourt details from becoming disconnected photo stops.
