Macao Cathedral
Look inside the city cathedral and at its twin belfries, a restrained church stop just east of Senado Square and the civic centre.
Why go
The original church dates to the early seventeenth century, though later rebuilding shaped what stands now. Shanghai plaster gives the exterior a quiet, solid appearance, while the pilasters and paired belfries distinguish it in the streetscape. Cathedral Square makes this an easy pause between Lou Kau Mansion and the civic centre.
