Former All Saints Church
The former All Saints Church stands at High Street and Turl Street, now serving as Lincoln College Library. Its exterior is worth noticing on a street walk; the library is not a public church visit.
This building makes an unusual Oxford change of use visible from the pavement. A church stood here from the medieval period, and the present structure followed a spire collapse in 1700. The building later became Lincoln College's library, so approach it as a historic exterior tied to the college rather than as a separate interior attraction.
What to look for
The former church occupies the High Street corner beside Turl Street.
Its tower and spire belong to the early eighteenth-century rebuilding.
Useful to know
View the exterior while walking the High or approaching Lincoln College on Turl Street.
For a college visit, use Lincoln's visitor entrance rather than the library building.
